In Nigel Lythgoe’s (So You Think You Can Dance) newest creation, the drama of American Idol meets the world of contemporary dance with two irreverent veterans calling the shots; introducing A Chance to Dance. Michael Nunn and William Trevitt are famous for smashing clichés in the dance world. These two charismatic dancers aren’t afraid to kick 500 years of tradition to the curb in the service of bringing dance to the masses! In the late 90s Michael and Billy left their careers as principal dancers of London’s Royal Ballet to form their own company, traveling the world staging daring and hugely popular productions. Now, they are coming to America to search for the next great company of dancers.

Doors Open

Doors Open is an entertaining and witty love story/caper full of dramatic tension and pathos— it’s a heist with a heart— and an unexpected plot twist. Doors Open, An Ovation Original, follows self-made millionaire Mike Mackenzie (Douglas Henshall) and close friend, Professor Gissing (played by Steven Fry) and their plan to swap a series of priceless masterpieces with brilliantly accurate forgeries. Based on best-selling author Ian Rankin’s 2008 novel, Doors Open was directed by Marc Evans and stars Stephen Fry, Douglas Henshall, Kenneth Collard and Lenora Critchlow. The production was shot on location in the Scottish Capital of Edinburgh and was produced by Steven Fry’s own production company, Sprout Pictures.
