(1978) Brad Davis, Randy Quaid A young American, Billy Hays, is caught smuggling drugs out of Turkey and thrown into prison. He is sentenced to at least 30 years behind bars where he endures torture and violence at the hands of the guards. Billy befriends other Americans in the jail and they work together to try and concoct a way to escape.
