(1999) Ioan Gruffudd, Robert Lindsay and Cherie Lunghi After capturing a prize French vessel, Hornblower is tasked with sailing her back to England with the aristocratic Duchess of Wharfedale on board. En route to their destination, the ship is seized by the Spanish and the occupants are thrown into captivity. Hornblower concocts a plan to escape with his men and the Duchess who is revealed to not actually be who they believe her to be.
