Small Wonders
After the local public school system eliminated her position due to budget cuts, music instructor Roberta Guaspari-Tzavaras started a non-profit program teaching young students in East Harlem to play the violin. Her dedication to music education has lifted her students' self-confidence and has given them a valuable artistic skill. Culminating in a performance at Carnegie Hall, Small Wonders demonstrates that one passionate person can make a difference in the lives of many.
