Upcoming episodes will feature Academy Award nominated director <strong>Greta Gerwig<\/strong> (<em>Lady Bird, Little Women<\/em>) interviewing Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner <strong>Laura Dern <\/strong>(<em>Marriage Story, Little Women<\/em>), as well as Tony Award nominee <strong>LaTanya Richardson Jackson<\/strong> (\u201cA Raisin in the Sun,\u201d <em>Juanita<\/em>) interviewing four-time Emmy Award winner <strong>Alfre Woodard<\/strong> (<em>Clemency<\/em>, <em>See<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image desktop img-responsive aligncenter\" src=\"\/app\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Richardson-Jackson-LaTanya-headshot.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Jackson and Woodard most recently starred together in the Netflix Original film <em>Juanita<\/em> directed by Clark Johnson. Woodard can currently be heard as the voice of \u201cSarabi&#8221; in Jon Favreau\u2019s Disney blockbuster <em>The Lion King<\/em>.&nbsp; This fall, she co-stars with Jason Momoa in the highly anticipated Apple series <em>See<\/em>, created by Steven Knight, and also headlines the feature film <em>Clemency<\/em>, which won the Grand Jury prize at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and will be released by Neon. Jackson currently stars on Broadway as \u201cCalpurnia\u201d in Aaron Sorkin\u2019s critically acclaimed adaptation of \u201cTo Kill a Mockingbird,\u201d alongside Jeff Daniels and Celia Keenan-Bolger, and directed by Bartlett Sher.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image desktop img-responsive aligncenter\" src=\"\/app\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Greta-Gerwig-headshot.jpg\"><br \/>\nDern stars as \u201cMarmee March\u201d in Gerwig\u2019s upcoming film adaptation of Louisa May Alcott\u2019s novel <em>Little Women<\/em>, scheduled to be released on December 25, 2019. This winter, she will be seen in Noah Baumbach\u2019s <em>Marriage Story<\/em> for Netflix in theaters November 6, 2019. Dern is a two-time Academy Award nominee for her roles in <em>Wild<\/em> and <em>Rambling Rose<\/em>. She was recently nominated for an Emmy for her role as \u201cJennifer Fox\u201d in HBO\u2019s <em>The Tale<\/em>. In 2017, Dern won an Emmy for her role as \u201cRenata Klein\u201d in HBO\u2019s <em>Big Little Lies<\/em>. In 2017, Gerwig made her solo directorial debut with the award-winning <em>Lady Bird<\/em>, which she also wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The new season of <a href=\"\/inside-the-actors-studio\"><strong><em>Inside the Actors Studio<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>will air on Ovation Sunday nights at 10pm ET \/ 7pm PT, starting with Alec Baldwin interviewing Henry Winkler on October 13.<\/p>\n<p>The series is currently filming in NYC at the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts at Pace University. Additional episodes will be announced.
