Written by Andrew Bampfield and Tim Loane and directed by Pieter Van Hees, the final episode, entitled \u201cThe Legacy,\u201d airs <u>Saturday, December 8 at 10pm ET \/ 7pm PT<\/u> and will be available on Ovation NOW as of Wednesday, December 12.<\/p>\n<p>Having crushed the Protestants and thwarted Cardinal Leto, Louis (George Blagden) feels invincible. But his family and France are divided and Fabien (Tygh Runyan) is on the loose. And what of the future? What will be his legacy? In an effort to appease the people, Louis decides to go to Paris to give his blessing to the sick, unaware that Jeanne (Jenny Platt) and the rebels are planning to assassinate him. The series finale also stars Alexander Vlahos, Evan Williams, Catherine Walker, Jessica Clark, Steve Cumyn, Marie Askehave, Anthony Flanagan, Matthew McNulty, Benedita Pereira, Joe Sheridan, James Clack, and Stuart Bowman.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Versailles <\/em><\/strong>is Ovation\u2019s most-watched series. Over the course of the past three seasons, the network has cultivated its now ardent fanbase by producing an array of both on air and online original content that delves into the history and storylines of the series. For season three, Ovation produces an exclusive Facebook Live talk show called <a href=\"\/inside-versailles\"><strong><em>Inside Versailles<\/em><\/strong><\/a> on its official Facebook page every Saturday night immediately following each new episode. Host Chelsea Cannell chats with cast members Tygh Runyan &amp; Evan Williams about all the twists and turns in the storyline.
