This version of the Nutcracker from the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg, the first home to the Christmas classic, features the original score of Tchaikovsky, the renowned choreography from Vainonen, and the magnificent set design by Virsaladze. With deliberate and flawless performances by Alina Somova and Vladimir Shklyarov along with Valery Gergiev steady hand as conductor, this production will transport you back to 1892.
