OVATION TV CELEBRATES NATIONAL HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH WITH A FREE CURATED PROGRAMMING DESTINATION ON THE OVATION NOW APP

Ovation TV, America’s premier arts network, is set to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 to October 15) with a free, specially curated section of programming on the Ovation NOW app. Honoring its mission of celebrating and presenting all forms of art, Ovation will highlight artistic excellence in the Hispanic community with profiles and interviews featuring some of the biggest artists in the world: Carlos Santana, Jennifer Lopez, Benicio del Toro, Demi Lovato, Salma Hayek, Shakira, and more. Additional titles include films starring and featuring Hispanic actors and characters, and travel docuseries exploring the rich culture of various Hispanic countries. This special folder will be available, free to all, on the Ovation NOW app.

The following titles will be available starting September 15:

Bed and Breakfast (2010 film)

The legendary interview series that examines the craft and careers of hundreds of actors. Featuring Jennifer Lopez (1 episode).

J-Lo: From the Block (2020 film)

Rio Cantoria (2021 film, 9/23-10/15 only)
Paula Lavigne invites musicians and singers to her home overlooking Ipanema Beach. Songs spill out, in the style of a roda de samba. Among the performers are Nelson Sargento and singer Alcione. They reprise the samba and Música popular Brasileira hits.

This series offers unique insights into the careers of some of the world’s most iconic musicians by giving the artist the opportunity to discuss their illustrious career with an interviewer of their choosing — a journalist, creative partner, musician, or friend. Stars of the Silver Screen celebrates the lives of those who soared the highest, uncovering what drove them and why the world loved them. This episode focuses on Mexican American actor Anthony Quinn (1 episode).

This Ovation original production looks at the festive spirit of tequila. Casa Mexico Tequila brings viewers through the process of tequila making, from harvesting to bottling. Features Mario Lopez.
