This Giving Tuesday, we are highlighting the Urban Voices Project in Los Angeles, which brings the healing power of music directly to individuals disenfranchised by homelessness, mental health issues, and unemployment.
Skid Row is a neighborhood in Downtown Los Angeles with one of the largest number of homeless individuals in the United States. The Urban Voices Project pairs artists and performers from the area, The Colburn School and The John Wesley Health Centers (JWCH Institute), in a choir.
See how people are inspired by music and song, and consider making a donation to the Urban Voices Project by visiting http://urbanvoicesproject.org/donate-give and designating “URBAN VOICES PROJECT” in the dedication box.
